Applicant must be a Permanent resident or a Citizen of United States.
Optimize existing processes to obtain system to system repeatability and stability.
Perform root-cause analysis of error in measurements and implement hardware improvements.
Develop new experimental ideas and experiments; provide suggestions on instrumentation design and/or instrumentation improvements based on experimental results.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
An Advanced Degree in Physics or Biomedical Engineering.
Experience with spectroscopic analysis of biological samples, preferably using Raman.
Experience working on Lasers, optical and electrical aspects of spectroscopic instrumentation.
Familiarity with spectrometric calibration methods.
Familiarity with various spectroscopic techniques.
Familiarity with Signal Processing.
